During Copenhagen Jazz Festival I shortly went to the studio with a new pretty new trio called Casper, Lars & Terkel. Casper Rask on bass, Lars Fiil on piano and me on drums. We mostly play free jazz, but also a couple of compositions by Lars. At MillFactory NuVenue we did one of Lars’ tunes called Mal Practise and one free take. Check it out!
The annual Copenhagen Jazz Festival (CJF) is just around the corner, which means every danish jazz musician will play his/her ass off during the next ten days. The wellknown jazz critic Kjeld Frandsen from the danish newspaper Berlingske, voted Reverse – MUSEUM 5 stars last Saturday, and compared Reverse with The Bad Plus and The Necks, because all three trios renews the classic trioformat! I’m truly grateful for this! Read the album review here.
